Start Working with Process Schedules

Last updated Tue May 24 2022

Begin your journey migrating process schedules with AtomSphere API, which includes:

  • Quick steps to configure the AtomSphere API connectors
  • Methods for setting process properties in the Set Properties Shape
  • Methods for using a Branch Shape to path migration executions

Overview:

By using the AtomSphere API, migrating process schedules from one Atom to another is made accessible. This solution performs Query and Update operations on a pre-defined object to receive desired results from migration. This supports any given AtomSphere account, such as your own.

This solution helps users with migrating schedules by querying and updating values. Gain additional benefits when migrating to a new runtime and maintaining the same process schedule configuration. Runtime migration includes Atom to Molecule and Atom to Cloud.

The example process demonstrates how to migrate process schedules between Atoms. The source and target Atom IDs are specified as process properties in the Set Properties Shape, which are then delivered to the AtomSphere API connector to query by source Atom ID in Branch 1. A connection is established by configuring with the correct credentials. Values are also delivered to the AtomSphere API connector to query and update by target Atom ID in Branch 2.
