Begin your journey with business rules with this solution, which includes:
- Quick steps for configuring the Business Rules Shape
- Methods for passing test data with Message Shape
- Two paths: Accepted and Rejected
Overview:
The Business Rules Shape creates and performs business rules. This determines if a document is accepted or rejected. It is dependable for storing a vast number of rules and conditions into one location by leveraging operators for grouping.
By using this solution, users have the ability to create advanced logic and validation rules for processes. An example use case is setting criteria for book prices, genres, and inventory. The shape is valuable for determining acceptable/non-acceptable data through verification and validation.
The example process demonstrates how to use business rules in Boomi Integration. To begin, the Message Shape obtains test data that is passed throughout the process. The Business Rules Shape is configured with acceptance criteria that is associated with the use case. The test data is passed down two paths, which are accepted and rejected.
