Set yourself up for success with this solution, which includes:

  • Groovy Script
  • Document Cache
  • Return Documents shape

The Groovy Script in the Data Process shape parses the records in a document and identifies the most recent document containing each ID. (A “document” is a set of data flowing through a Boomi process. A document can be a single record, a group of records, an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transaction or an entire file.)

The selected data is then saved temporarily in the document cache, where it is retrieved from and returned to the process or web service server where the data originated.

This recipe is useful to retailers who need to document when all items were last sold.

The recipe qualifies for Boomi’s Recipe Program.

Qualifying customers get access to Boomi’s Recipe Program* with the purchase of a Boomi subscription. As part of the Recipe Program you have direct access to a Boomi specialist to get you up and running with Boomi at no additional cost. Learn more

*Offer applies only to new customers and requires purchase of a qualifying Boomi subscription.
