Overview:

The SAP Java Connector (SAP JCo) is a development library that allows for SAP systems to communicate with SAP’s RFC protocol to enable Java applications.

Building SAP-enabled Java applications is made easy when you use the SAP JCo connector. This connector enables execution of BAPIs, Remote Function Modules (RFMs) and send/receive IDocs asynchronously.

The recipe details how to configure the SAP JCo connector both with and without listen settings. Three unique processes are included. The Execute Operation process demonstrates how the connector retrieves a BAPI/Business Object from a SAP System. The Listen Operation demonstrates how the connector listens to an SAP Sytem for IDocs. And the Send Operation process demonstrates the how the connector sends and IDoc to an SAP System.
