We built an employee onboarding process using the Boomi platform. This recipe explores our use of Jira for new-hire task management. Task management is a fundamental part of employee onboarding. A good task management strategy is user friendly, functional, and secure.
Jira is a best-in-breed cloud task management platform, most often used for software engineering work. We opted to used Jira as our system of record for new hire onboarding tasks because it has excellent in-built task management features. It was also conveniently already a part of our Boomi tech stack, so was ready for our integrations without any new infrastructure or cost.
