Expensify is a powerful tool that automates expense management and receipt tracking, allowing for you to streamline your entire pre-accounting process. Expensify saves countless hours of grueling manual entry with one-click expense reports in real-time.

This recipe is configured to generate a report file from Expensify in XML and bring the data into Boomi – allowing for the data to be used across the Boomi platform in a number of different ways.

Boomi makes it easy to connect to Expensify by leveraging the HTTP Client Connector. In this recipe, the HTTP Client Connector is used twice. The first call is made to generate the Expensify report as a way to extract the data. The call will be based on the input filters and the template that will be passed into the requestJobDescription JSON parameter of Expensify Report Generation API. The second call is made to download the data into Boomi from the export, generated in the previous call.
