Connect JDE with Jaggaer

Last updated Wed Aug 03 2022

Streamline your procurement process and save time with this solution, which syncs purchase orders between JDE and Jaggaer. It includes how to:

  • Listen to Real time events from JDE
  • Connect with JDE to extract data.
  • Post Purchase Orders on Jaggaer queue.

Overview:

This solution offers a design for Buyer – Supplier Purchase Order Integration between JD Edwards (JDE) ERP and a Cloud Supplier portal “Jaggaer”.

Use Boomi to bring JDE and Jaggaer together and get the best of both tools. In just a few minutes, you’ll start syncing data between the buyers ERP and Supplier’s system.

When a Buyer creates a PO in JDE that triggers an RTE (Real-Time Event) and queues an RTE PO XML in a JMS queue. Boomi listens to the PO messages, fetches them, uses them to extract data further from the JDE Database, maps the DB data to Standard Jaggaer format XML and posts the payload to Jaggaer using Jaggaer’s SOAP API.

The posting of the PO to Jaggaer is asynchronous and the API call just puts the XMLs into an internal Jaggaer queue and those are further processed by Jaggaer. Ultimately the Supplier could view those orders in the Jaggaer portal UI.

This solution shows you how to streamline your retail process to scale your business across orders and more.
