Overview
A 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Trading Partner is a service that helps ecommerce merchants manage their supply chain. DailyPay is a financial services company that provides payroll services in real-time. In this solution, Get/Send operations are performed on pre-defined objects to receive desired results.
Save costs by automating the way data is transferred from one service to another. As a result, both the business and customer benefit with increased flexibility, scalability, reliability, and customer satisfaction, which grows the business and market value.
The example process demonstrates the use of retrieving and creating orders in DailyPay from a 3PL FTP Trading Partner. The Start Shape is configured as a trading partner with the company name set as an example 3PL. This solution is divided into three paths, which include documents, acknowledgements, and errors. First, the HTTP Client connector is configured to connect to DailyPay in order to create an order that is retrieved from the 3PL Trading Partner. Second, an FTP connection is established to send the order acknowledgement details to a file. Last, all errors that may have occurred during execution are captured in the errors path.
